Bidwells advised on the transaction strategy for the sale of the O2, a >140-year ground-rent virtual-freehold ownership interest in the iconic O2 property in London.

Bidwells acquired the O2 on behalf of Trinity College, Cambridge in a purchase of 100% of the shares of the company holding the property in 2009. Having conducted a series of lease renegotiations since then, the property was optimally positioned for sale as a long-term inflation-linked secure income stream.

As Trinity College’s property investment manager, Bidwells Investment Management advised on marketing agent selection, transaction structure, and negotiation of the transaction itself.
