Bidwells Investment Management advised Trinity College, Cambridge on the acquisition of a strategic City of London office investment, providing end-to-end investment, structuring and transaction advice.

The instruction related to 2–8 Eastcheap, a 62,000 sq ft multi-let office and retail asset located less than 100 metres from Monument Station. 

Bidwells advised on value and risk, and supported Trinity through the acquisition of a 90% interest in a joint venture with Greycoat Real Estate. The transaction was structured to align with Trinity’s long-term investment objectives while minimising operational burden.

Our role spanned analysis, due diligence coordination and joint venture structuring. We advised on the optimal ownership vehicle, negotiating a Jersey Property Unit Trust structure that provides flexibility, governance control and a repeatable framework for future investments.

The acquisition delivers strong income on entry, clear asset management upside and portfolio diversification, while demonstrating Bidwells Investment Management’s ability to structure and execute complex real estate investments for institutional and endowment clients.
